    mark him with a space before his name, tak him out of one of the Breeding Clubs he's in right now, and then see if he pops up when you go to the KP club. :)

    He can't get in the KP club so does that mean his dam isn't a carrier then? I am trying to figure out how to get homo KP in the 3rd gen? What am I doing wrong?

    His dam is a carrier, as her grandsire is hom kp by the looks of things. Her granddam, however, doesn't have kp.

    You;re doing everything right, it's just a coin toss as to what genes are passed down. In this case, the coin landed on the "No kp" side.

    His dam is also het gp as well as het kp, so certainly good for your lines! She just needs a chance and you a little bit of luck.

    And it doesn't mean this foal is useless either, because of course he might carry it himself, even if it isn't Homozygous.

    His dad is homozygous, so he is 100% het kp. So every time you mate these two, you get a 50% chance of a hom kp foal
