So I gmt'd Kit P on this stud, but in RS Shades of Pale description it says "het"for everything... Does that included Kit P and now with the gmt would he actually be Hom?

Do you mean KP (Kit Promoter)?

Some genes can only be Gmt'd on :)

@goliath I also GMTd Kit Promoter...As @paradisePark pointed out... Which was what I ment. So its a gmt gene only or was he het already... :)

KP W3 W8 W10 Satin and GP can only be Gmt'd on :)
(Hope I listed them all)

@angelacres Have you tried entering the horse in the KP breeders club? I’m not familiar enough with this RS to tell you if it was already Het KP.

@fallenShadows714, silly me, I did not think of it ... Just tried and he did not pop up... So safe to assume he's only het still. :) thanks for the idea!

I'm pretty sure that the "heterozygous for everything" tag means only the standard color and pattern genes. It would not cover fantasy genes, hidden genes, and so forth. It wouldn't cover all of the possible Kit mutation either.

Because of the water colour he'll only be able to be registered into the fantasy club anyway
