I just got my first the other day. I couldn't believe it - I was super stoked. She got frame too, so is basically a Freaky Friday.

Lucky ducky’s, I’ve gotten two or 3 livers from HH, but never a black liver

I have a couple black liver mares that I got from herd helpers. I'm usually just excited to get a regular liver!

I've gotten several, although they don't always pass SBA, they often pass BA. I've gotten several DP bays to, some hom.

@ConfluenceFarms. I am excited just to get a liver also. What surprised me about her was she came from a dark chestnut herd helper.

That's the best way to get liver and black liver, in my opinion. Almost all of mine have come from "dark chestnut" or "dark flaxen chestnut" herd helpers. I've also gotten them from "dark red dun" and "sooty palomino". If you can reroll until you get a HH that is red based and hom sooty, it ups your chances to get liver since the horse is already guaranteed to be hom sooty & red. I've created about 25 liver/chocolate that are intact and still in the game. I could have had more if I had done just BA and not SBA. I only have one black liver left, but I have several hom DP bays from HH.
