Buddy Chat Sales? Wrong player purchased horse?
  • I recently posted a horse in a buddy chat for a member to pick up after she won him on the forum auction. I had indicated that it was for this player when he was posted. Another experienced player purchased the horse even though it was listed correctly as for the auction-winning player. I have PM'ed the player which purchased the horse and informed them it was not for them, and that I would buy the horse back in order to ensure they got their money back with no response.

    Is there anything I can do at this point to get the horse to the correct person? I read in the TOS and Rules that Public Sales can be purchased by anyone, but this was a buddy chat exchange and it was clearly listed for another player.

    TIA for any insight you might be able to provide!

  • You should use a private chat room for private sales. There is no reason to put a private sale horse in a busy public group.

    You will simply have to give the player who bought it on accident enough time to respond.

  • I doubt very much you will have any issues KingsCrossing. Make sure you send them a forum PM, not just leave a post on the chat though as they may never see it there.
