I usually am working at the end of auctions so rarely am able to get into bidding wars but I did win 11 horses the last time I bid. Usually I end up bidding on the top 100 high point earners (bid on as many as I can early and try to get on in the afternoon to pick up where I left off)

I have dropped 3 spots this week as I haven’t been as active trolling the boards but I was in 19th place and I’ve only managed to buy 3 horses with over 100 points. The majority of my horses I’ve bought had 18-40 points and have been sitting around being trained for a while but not overly shown. I now have 7 over 100 points and will probably have 2-3 more by the end of Showing my herd. Most of those 100poniters were bought with 3-18 points.

My point is that you can move up with the horses that people overlook because they don’t have high points its a trade off between being easier to buy a few cheap low pointed horses and show them and harder to find high pointed horses for sale

I think if it was then we would all be doing it and jump on it and it would become a frenzy again! :)
