I bought a horse who has a list of tack I've never seen before, including a close contact saddle. Is that a pack that is limited to paid memberships, no longer available, or still available but I just can't find it?

You can buy tack packs with IV’s under

upgrades and extras > upgrade with game money > IV shopping

I've looked, but all I see are sheets, bridle parts, dresssge, draft tack ( holy $!), and trail ride/western.

Have you any idea if the cc saddle is in one of those? He also had a bridle, breastplate and other stuff even though he's a foal. My foals are limited to a halter with or without fleeces and hoof polish. I can't even braid the poor scruffy things.

I wish the descriptions gave a list of what's included and which horses it can or cannot be used on.

Usually, if you're talking about something that is on a specific horse, it'd be best to share a link to the horse so people can see what you're talking about.

For the basic upgrade, at least, I don't see a "close contact" saddle. I also have never seen a foal with a saddle on it.

The close contact saddle comes with the tack included in the Premium upgrade, I believe. I know for a fact it does not come with any tack packs.

Too late for a pic, as all his stuff vanished once I refreshed. And I never saw a pic with him wearing any of it, he was nekkid when I bought him.

Foals can’t wear saddles and such. They would’ve appeared after he aged up and his picture updated.

I think the only piece of tack you can put on a foal is the foal halter. It won't automatically grow with the foal, though, so you'd have to remember to change it when the foal ages up.

Sandycreek is correct, foals only get backgrounds, some of the grooming things, like hoof polish or the Advent window lights and halters. I am upgraded and have bought all the Tack Packs. So, when I copy tack from an older horse onto a foal, it won't show up until they are refreshed at 2 years old. But, if you buy a foal with the tack, and you don't own that Tack Pack in your account, it will disappear. The close contact saddle will be under the very top tack pack once your foal turns 2. You won't get the option in that top Tack Pack until then.

Does that only apply to upgraded accounts? There's no saddle option but the all-purpose in my list.

Same here, my only choice is an all-purpose unless I want to spend funds on a Dressage pack. Horse age doesn't change that. Halters and hoof polish only for foals, can't even clip or braid. An AP saddle or none for 2yo and up.

Some tack in the main tack pack is unlocked by the two upgrades. Those of us with older upgrades can’t tell you what is unlocked when, as tack has been added and the tack packs have changed over the years. It definitely sounds like the close contact saddle is an upgrade item, but I can’t tell you if it’s a basic or premium upgrade item....
