Stars and Stripes Forever Descendants
-
I'm sure lots of people have noticed the same thing, but I used a Stars and Stripes stud for a couple of my first breeding seasons and saw pretty quick the offspring were usually fairly distinctive. To the point where I could open a horse's page and be like "yup, that's a Kiedis baby" (my SASF stud) without checking the family tab. That clear non-sooty bay with tobi patches and splash.
I was checking out one of my favourite-looking show ponies from last season and was thinking "huh, his patterning looks like a Kiedis baby" even though I sold that stud ages ago. Sure enough, that was his grandsire.

Here are a few of my SASF foals to compare.
AH2 Encore
AH2 Cabron
AH2 Warm Tape
AH2 Californication
AH2 Desecration Smile
AH2 Zephyr Song
And here are some more grandfoals (from two different sires than the one at the top of my post)

AH Clover Club
I like how that look has stuck through the generations. Anybody else got SASF descendants with that same distinct look?
