Tattoos?

    So, I was browsing through the tattoo section and this game doesn’t seem to have an upload feature? I have a great tattoo design in mind and would only take me about 2/5 minutes in Gimp to create. I guess I was just wondering if there was a specified reason we couldn’t use images from a program and upload them?

    I guess I’m just having an awful time trying to make a tattoo on the editor here and wondering if there was a reason using actual graphics editors isn’t allowed.

    The only way to get tattoo designs in the game is to create them in the game's tattoo editing program. There is no game mechanism to use outside images for tattoos. However, you could design your tattoo in Gimp and then copy it into your tattoo registry. I have done similar things using my Photoshop program.

    The important thing to remember is that the tattoo size is 25 pixels by 25 pixels, so whatever you design should be done to that size specification to make the transfer go smoothly.

    Yea I was attempting to use the editor but honestly it is pretty bad compared to my program. The sensitivity on my tablet pen is completely distorted. :( I didn’t know if anybody knew a reason for not being able to use an actual program or if the game admin was just trying to keep copyright issues at bay.

    Also how did you do the transfer without an upload button? I guess I’m just a little confused how that works.

    Tattoo size is 35 by 35.

    The editor will be going away, but it simply hasn't yet.

    @Ammit I just counted the vertical pixels. It is 25.

    @pestilenttempest I use a PC. I open Photoshop, copy the image I'm wanting to use for the tattoo into that program and blow it up until I can see the individual pixels clearly. Then, in the browser window, I go to the game's tattoo editor, select my color, then use the mouse to position the cursor where I want it and click to color that pixel. It's not fast but it gets the job done.

    Frequently I draw the tattoo image using black, because it show up so clearly, then go back and recolor it for the look I want.
