Both splash 1 and splash m are safe with everything. They do however up the white on a horse. This increase in WF is how other crosses can be more lethal.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Splash 3 with tobiano isn't safe? Oh. I thought tobiano is quite safe with everything excluding white 1 when there's a large white factor.

The splashes ARE NOT lethal with any kit genes. Kit genes are lethal with kit genes, splash 2 and splash 3 are lethal with each other, like frame is lethal with itself.
The thing is these genes increase the white factor, which can make a dead foal more likely. However you have to have a horse with two kit genes for this to happen. So if you have a hom tobiano foal, with splash 3, that combination will NEVER be lethal.
You should really move the splashes and frame from the kit genes. While one can influence the other, it does not directly result in dead foals.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Yep only kit is on the chart for a reason. The other genes should each have their own. :)Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
