Snowflake - how uncommon?

    I got some hom snowflake straws, so I'm considering getting a mare which is at least het snowflake. How small are the chances for getting a snowflake creating horses out of regular herd helpers?

    Not sure on the chances but it doesnt seem to be common.
    A lot are probably hiding it due to no LP or only being het :)

    I don’t know exactly how common they are - I do keep finding some of my foundation mares are surprise hets all the time. But, the number is still really small. I think, trying to find one via straws will be very much like throwing darts blindfolded. What generation straws do you have and are you looking for a certain body type? I might have some eggs I can sell you.

    Thanks for an offer, but I'm not sure I can use eggs. I have only a basic upgrade.

    Maybe I should use the straws on usual appaloosa mares and then cross the foals, as inbreeding has no effect in this game...

    Pine if you do want Hom Snowflake horses, you can send Waldgraf straws from the stud. Then Wald can create embryos to sell back to you. :D
    Basic upgrades are not ment to be able to use eggs but there is (was?) a bug where they could use them. :)
