Closed gene
-
My Secret Santa wants to present a het nexus colt to me. I don't have a breeding license for any closed genes, so theoretically I can get the foal only if he's gelded, but the nexus gene in the colt's genotype isn't marked as limited (isn't displayed in orange color). Is it still limited even though it's only heterozygous?understand the significance of signatures

Nexus is not a closed gene. You can find info about which genes are closed in the FAQ, they are also marked in orange on the gene test results. No orange means no restrictions.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Nexus isn't a closed gene! Just axiom. So you're both well within your rights to own him. Don't worry :)
Edit: Snap Ammit :)) -
