Anyone else have a bad pasture this year?

I was super excited about my pasture this year. I got almost all of my mares in last month so theyd have a decent bonus. I planned everything and picked my stallions. I need them a little early but most had a decent enough bonus that I didn't think to much of ot.

I finally just finished goingbthrough them all and yea I'm not impressed. There are some good show ponies but I was hoping I'd have some nicer horses to do a Christmas giveaway or to offer for SS. They aren't even that pretty either
All well. There's always next season.

I was planning on skipping breeding this year. Already did my pastures but I have plenty of other horses that haven't been bred. Do you want to go through my herd and have a look? I'll put any mares up for you for 500hbs.

@ObsidianKitsune that's very sweet of you. I've got a lot of horses right Now and not a lot of room but I'll look through them and probably pick just a few

I actually had one of my best! I had a debut stallion and he only got 10 mares. 9 intact. 4 of them A/Blue. So very excited. He tested AGA my old guy, but my old guy with like 3 foal crops with more mares hasn't had that much luck. And to top it off new guy looks exactly like Big Grullo Toby goal I have.

My pasture horses didn't do well this season. I was hoping for a brindle - or at least something interesting - but I got many common colors instead. Also, most of the pasture foals were colts and my stud barn is small and almost full, so I couldn't keep them :|

This year I got several really flashy intact... yep, you guessed it, colts. And only a very few more common colored fillies. If anyone wants a colt... lol

All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

they are past the breeding advice? So i dont buy them and the get spade or gelded?
Maybe you can gene test?

My hardest thing is I ended up with like 5 colts for every filly. And that's with testing being stricter on the colts. A lot of the fillies are just eh
