    So turns oit my mr meteroric milestone colt is infact snowflake! I thought he had missed it.. registering horses for breeders clubs and discovered this girl is infact snowflake! Now the question is as to who her mum got it from. Lol

    As to where her dam got it, you'll have to watch the results breeding other offspring from both grandsire and granddam on that side, since it could be either.

    Yes ive brought the granddam in from pasture do intend to get eggs from her next season and and use a hom sf stud to see if its her. :)

    Snowflake is a part of the Appaloosa complex. It causes small white spots in the horse's coat, outside the blanket. They grow larger as the horse ages. In the game, snowflake is a hidden gene that shows up on an appaloosa horse that is homozygous for Snowflake. It can occur spontaneously in created horses, whether they are appaloosa or not. Most often it is heterozygous, so it doesn't show up on appaloosas and is only discovered if a carrier is bred to a snowflake carrying appaloosa and the foal gets it from both parents and the appaloosa from the parent that carries LLp. There have been homozygous snowflake create horses on very rare occasions.

    Sometimes it is available in the GMT lab, but it's not always there. Ammit may gift us with a Snowflake GMT day in the Advent Calendar, but nobody knows for sure about that except Ammit.

    Yay congrats!

    I had a surprise snowflake carrier this year too!

    I found out this mare carries snowflake by accident! I didn’t mean to breed that pasture with my snowflake stud but Tada! She produced a beautiful snowflake colt. Now I know :)
