Pearl Gene Query

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to why some horses with the Cprl gene show Pearl in their Colour and others don't? I'm a little confused :)
This horse has the Cprl gene and Pearl in her colour name:
Fleur3 Lottery
This foal has the Cprl gene and Pearl is not in her colour name:
Fleur3 Hidden Brass
Any explanation appreciated and sorry if it's a silly question :) -

Pearl only affects the horse's color when it's homozygous--CprlCprl--or when it's combined with regular Cream--CprlCcr. This is when Pearl shows up in the color name.
If the horse is CprlC, like Hidden Brass, it does not affect the color of the horse, and so it doesn't appear in the horse's name.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Going to chime in that bay with pearl is really pretty and it's obvious when it does show up! It makes a beautiful strawberry blonde sort of colour :)

If you add the cream to make a buckskin they end up slightly paler again and kind of pinky.
