So I read the FAQ User Guide about Private and Closed Genes, so are you allowed to sell private genes?

Are closed genes supposed to stay with one person?

As mentioned in the FAQ's:

Private genes are owned exclusively by a single member of the game. These genes are limited or closed based on the discretion of the gene owner. Some genes are private on HJ1 and closed on HJ2. Regardless they are not available to purchase.

Closed genes, by my wording, are owned by more than one member and function as a community that can share within itself. For example, if you own a foundation horse of the closed gene, you can purchase said closed gene from another member owning the same closed gene.

So, from my understanding, a private gene could potentially be sold to other members at the decision of the owner. Closed genes can be sold among members in possession of the same closed gene.
