Recently, I lost my second generation (2G) benchmark stallion and I'm just now trying to determine my new 2G benchmark.

Previously, 2G Watch Lite HKP was my benchmark. I perceived that he was a high B since he comparison tested superior to a perfect foundation (C papered) stallion and tested superior to numerous other 2G (B papered) stallions. I was never able to find a B papered stallion that tested superior to him and he even tested as good as numerous A papered third generation (3G) stallions. That is why I picked him as my benchmark. I wanted my other 2G stallions to be as good as him and I wanted my 3G stallions to be better than him.

Now the fun money spending time and you get some actual information, I had 18 stallions that tested "about as good as" 2G Watch Lite HKP. But what one was the best??

Process of elimination, I decided to test them against my 2G A papered colt 2G Kushti x Valentin colt. Bear with me, I'm still trying to come up with an appropriate name for him. :) This colt was a 2G that comparison tested about superior to one of my low B papered 2G colts and about as good as my 3G benchmark stud.

"2Gsp Kushti x Valentin is about as good as 2G Snow Gumridge hKP" Check

"2G Star Lord hKP is worse than 2G Snow Gumridge hKP" :O
"2G Sunfire Stone hKP is worse than 2G Snow Gumridge hKP" :O
"2G Stephen Strange hKP is worse than 2G Snow Gumridge hKP" :O
"2G Stardom Choices hKP is about as good as 2G Snow Gumridge hKP" Check

So, I figured out that Snow Gumridge hKP is a high B and Star Lord, Sunfire Stone, and Stephen Strange are not as high as I thought they were. Note that the four mentioned stallion previously were ranked about the same because they are all "about as good as" 2G Watch Lite HKP.

Now if you are wondering about my 3G benchmark...
"2G Snow Gumridge hKP is worse than 3G Feathered Watch HKP"

So I would rank them in lowest to highest breeding ability as:
Star Lord < Stardom Choices ~ Snow Gumridge < Kushti ~ Feathered Watch
