It makes no sense that this mare passed strict breeding advice when she is so terribly uneven I bred her for a show pony and got a horse that passed SBA. I have had tons and ton of foals fail SBA when both there parents were foundations with the same breeding ability and they get altered 90% of the time it makes no sense as all it blows me away that I meant for this horse to fail but didn't and hundreds of others fail that I want to pass

Luck of the draw. I have a blue papered mare that's out of a B stud and a yellow mare. No idea how that happened, either.

Yea must be she's getting altered so I didn't need the luck on her I wish I had some luck on my others that ill use for breeding ugh!

She is a high blue and her dam is a low blue

Luck of the draw. A low blue and high B wouldn't be too different in terms of breeding ability if I'm not mistaken, and if they both 'roll' high on the breeding scale there's your intact foal :) Could use her to breed more show ponies since she's already had bit of a head start

It's just funny if I were to breed a high B to a low Blue with horses I would actually use for breeding the foal would get snipped like it does every time I breed that pair haha it makes me laugh :)

I've gotten in the habit of thinking "Oh he/she is adorable...they're gonna get snipped..." when I'm testing. That way, when they do, it's a tad less disappointing.
