    Can someone explain how I got this girl from the parents she has?

    Is it just because her father has the dapples that she also does? I've tried breeding a dappled mare to a dark stud before and didn't get any.

    Dapples are not a guarantee it helps to express them threw re roles

    Dapples have both a genetic and a luck component. In general if your horse is homozygous sooty or if it expresses silver,, you may be able to reroll a non-dappled horse and get dapples. The more darkening genes involved, the more dapples I tend to see. But it's definitely got a luck component to it!
