    He is uneven but I have used him the last 2 seasons and am wondering what you all think of him and his foals.

    I like him he's very handsome and its only the papers that make him uneven so he's not all that bad :-)

    @best friend, do you have a specific question about him and his foals? Are you wondering about their breeding or showing quality?

    At a glance, I see that he is A papered, nice!, and his AFPT is 10.88 which, if you are considering him 4th generation, nothing phenomenal but not too bad either. As posted in this thread: PT scores...whats the standard a fourth generation horse should be producing an AFPT score of about 11.1 so your stud isn't too far behind.

    Does he have the genes you were hoping for? If so, 7 out of his 36 foals have LP and Sooty+, woot! And only three of them are chestnut - again, not sure if you are aiming for bay, LP, sooty+ horses.

    As for showing quality, only 1 inconsistent out of the 11 consistent foals is good.

    Considering the uneven breeding quality brought in by his dam, I think he is doing just dandy! :)

    Ok that makes me feel better. This will be his 3rd season so trying to get a star baby from him.

    That should be entirely possible. Have you comparison tested him? Is he superior to his sire? Or an equivalent A papered third generation?

    I compared him to Joeys Dream my 4g A papered boy and he is AGA to Joey.
