My first Blue 2nd gen mare

    I'm a little happy this morning. My first blue papered 2nd generation mare. I have a few blue papered mares but they are all 3rd gen, where you would expect to see them. Not only did my NanoTech stallion throw a lot of cute little appy foals this season he threw a lot of really good ones.

    It depends with me, I like to see blue by 2g if it's a boosted line (ex-pro's) but if it's a normal line then I like to see it by 3g. Since I've got the two lines going at the moment I'm holding back mares who paper red at 2g from the boosted line to put into the normal line since they're even breeding quality :) However any mares papering yellow from the normal line are snipped.

    EDIT: Btw, I forgot to mention that you've got a real little cutie there! I'm a sucker for silver with grullo ;)

    She's so cute! That's so exciting! I love the way you can see the rabicano on her belly so it almost looks like the reverse image of her appy spotting. She's going to be a gorgeous mare.
