Would Boosting Help?
-
I am in love with this guy's markings. He is gorgeous (blue eyes would make him perfect ;) ) and I would love to be able to use him for breeding.
Do you think boosting him would help? Or is he just a pretty show pony?
Maybe boost -
You would need 1 GMT to unneuter him and then probably 5 boost tokens to get him past Breeding Advice. If you can pay real-life money, that would cost $30 while they are on sale this month. Both sire and dam are both ordinary creates. Even though his dam papered Red, that was before the testing considered both parents, and the dam's paper was based on the quality of her foals, not her own breeding ability number, and in those days, many ordinary foundation mares went red.
I, myself, would leave him neutered and try the same cross next game year to see what you get. Even with a +5 boost, he would only be a low B.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I agree with Sandy. Throw the mare in the pasture if you have room and repeat the cross. You could also search for other Foundation mares with splash and frame to see if you can up your chances with multiple mares.
