What does everyone like to breed their King's Ransom horses to? I just got my first one and heard that they can have really pretty foals.

Here's my boy. I don't breed him often or to specific mares but you can take a look at what he has produces with the few mares he's been bred with. I mostly don't breed my kings ransom because he has silver

You could breed your Kings ransom horses to Diamond Age or Nanotech horses if you want a chance at a hom Pearl foal.

I have been doing a project where I bred Kings ransoms to the closest substitutes to king random mares, and then breed those offerings together ect... One of the foals this month showed that sabino slipped through, but for the most part I think I've kept rather close to the kings ransom genetics. Here is a link with that line's tattoo with all the different colors I have gotten with this experiment.

Breeding with other horses should give an even greater array of colors.

I'm trying to decide the same thing. I'm thinking about breeding it into my liver chestnut line. Does anyone have a picture of a Black chestnut with pearl?

Here is my black chestnut with pearl but pearl does not show up in her name because she is het pearl with no cream

I tend to just chuck them to whatevers left over. Got this goregous perlino boy from two Kings Ransom parents.

I love the soft color on Mystic Moonlight. I think I'm going to breed that into my line. I GMTed my Kings Ransom to be homo Pearl.

But you might not get the coat mystic moonlight has from a kings ransom because King's Ransom has champagne and silver those two gene would have to be GMTed off and they would have to be ee not Ee

And the other parent must at least be het pearl for a chance at a hom pearl foal to be like mystic moonlight :)and Bourbon he is so beautiful

I use them in my DP line. I love chocolate palomino pearls :) I usually try to remove the champagne if I have the GMTs.
