The comparison test only compares stallions that you own.

The Breeding Advice test, which is free and available to all players, will neuter foals that are definitely worse than both their parents for breeding.

The Performance Inspection will tell you if a foal will be better for showing than for breeding.

You should use all the testing available to you on every horse to help determine its quality as a breeder and as a shower. If there is a cost to the test, I recommend using it for as many horses as you can afford and trying to budget funds to test them gradually as necessary.
