Should I Geld This Boy?
-
Hello guys, I just tested all my pasture foals and this boy passed all his testing but is still in-superior to his sire. I'm curious see what you more experienced players may think. Thanks for your time!

Geld him. He wont better the next generation if he is not superior to his sir.

Did you Comparison test or are you going on paper level? If you compared him to his sire and he's inferior or AGA I would snip. If you're just going on paper level though I would recommend that you compare first, as most of us have 2 generations of A Papered stallions before we can break through to *Stars.
If you don't have any superior gen 3s or any superior sons of this stallion yet, there is no harm in holding this guy intact until next season to see if you can get a superior then...but this can become a trap when that superior colt doesn't come along for a few seasons and you end up talking yourself into breeding from what you know isn't a high quality stallion... -
