    I have this foal and her sire is hom KP. Would it be possible for me to gmt KP to her or would her dam have to have KP as well for that?

    She may already have a copy of KP from her sire. The only way to know would be to take her to the GM lab see. If she missed it, you will be able to add a copy for 1 hb.

    You will not be able to add a second copy, however, so that KP can be seen, since her dam doesn't have KP.

    If her sire is homo KP then she has 1 copy of KP from him guaranteed. The only way to GMT a second copy would be if her dam has KP which it doesn't appear she does.
