    I love this mare. She is my best show horse and I paid a fair bit for her. I doubt she will earn back what I paid for her, but it doesn't matter...

    They can pass after they turn 17. So between their 17th and 18th year is the first year they could pass. You're mare is 17 so you could lose her at the end of this month.

    I don't think that I've had a horse pass that early.
    I am pretty positive I have only had a couple that were 19 pass, the rest were all 20-21.

    I think the largest number of horses will pass out of the game at roll-over when they turn 18. There are always some that are lucky enough to live on.

    At one time in HaJ1, there was a gelding that reached 32, I think. He had a habit of turning up on the log-in page pretty regularly, and it got so I recognized him on sight. It turned out that his frequent appearances were a bug, so corrections were made and he stopped showing up so often.

    The oldest horse in HaJ1 right now is 33, but the next oldest is "only" 30. :d
