Is this filly DP?

    Hi everybody!

    I have a suspicion that this filly (and possibly a few of her siblings! )

    is het for DP (she's hom for sooty, btw)

    Is that correct or should I wait till she's older to be able to tell for sure?
    Breeding quality pintaloosa riding horses and ponies - and having fun with it!

    Looks like a pretty regular bay to me. Not super dark. I'm no expert though. This mare appears to be het. image

    I would say she doesn't have DP because her sire for sure doesn't have it as he is a hom sty chestnut and isn't liver. I'm also pretty sure her dam doesn't have DP as wild bays with DP are usually very red, not the more brown shade that she is. I attached a DP wild bay below. Shes is only het sty, but the shade of her coat would be similar to a hom sty wild bay with DP.
