Just a little stumped...

I know I've seen a few posts from other people who were confused about why certain horses were getting snipped and it's usually because they were inconsistent or worse than their parents. But this girl has thrown me for a loop. 12PT *Gold paper out of a *Star x Blue cross and consistent. The only other reason I could come up with is that her showing ability must be huge to outweigh her breeding ability. Unless someone else sees something that I'm missing.

I had the same problem with one of niquels sons to he is clearly superior then both of his parents my stud is but I think yours might have been gelded because I think the paper levels have to match gold/star go best together. but my studs parents are gold/star but his mom is inconsistent so I'm not really sure. but the reason my stud is a stallion is because I unaltered him to boost but I'm going to geld him this is him. you probably just got a bad roll or the foal is AGA sire

The dam is blue papered not gold so that may have dragged foal down enough if sire is a high Star?
I'm still learning though so just a suggestion from what I've picked up from other people :) -
I agree with Kalilm. Since her mum is blue, it probably dragged the foal to a lower level in *Star than what the dad was, enough so that it was altered.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

@Ammit - Would I be right in guessing that either her show score is very high or she is a low enough on the *Gold range to not be close to her *Star sire?

Her sire is from a long line of Stars, so if they are all superior you will be VERY lucky if you can get an intact from a blue mare.ID 108
