Superior colt gelded?

I'm a bit surprised that this colt was gelded - he had competed superior to sire. Does this mean his dam was very high quality, or could it be consistency that got him? Still getting used to the new testing.

I would say it had to be theconsistency test that got him. Looking at his page that is the only thing that I can come up with.

He doesn't have a PT score, but I'd guess inconsistency as well
