If a Gen 2 - 2 yr old places dead last at every show obviously they are not a good show horse. Would they have a good chance of being a good broodmare or should I cart her off to auction?

Can you post a link to her? If it was me I would give her 3 foals and see if she is producing consistent higher ptd babies than herself.

Like Best Friend said. Breed-ability and show-ability aren't really related, so a horse who is terrible at showing may be a very great producer. However it may also be a terrible producer, you just have to wait and see sadly...

They aren't the same. They are absolutely related in lined horses.

Here's her dam she's also a bad show horse so she just sits in the pasture. Now with her filly being the same way I'm wondering if I should scrap both? That would make me really sad though.
