Will Northern Lights stay as the default background? or will it go back to the Fall Hedgerow?

@Confluence Farms, I think it will stay the default for the remainder of January. Then it will go to the Spring Hedgerow followed by the Fall Hedgerow and finally back to the winterscape. It kind of goes with the seasons if I remember correctly.

I think in midsummer it went to the one that looks like a pasture in the outback...all Golds and dusky greens....but I may be making that up.

I just didn't want to go and start changing all of them if it was going to re set. I'll wait and see what February brings!

What are golds and dusky greens? I've never heard about these.

Calling all premium upgrade players: which backgrounds are buyable for you? At example, as a non-upgrade player, I can see the Midwinter Pasture and Aurora Blizzard backgrounds, but I can't buy them for any horse. And I cannot see most of the backdrops (excluding Light Blue and Dark ones).

I didnt know upgrade mattered when it came to backgrounds and tack. The midwinter pasture and aurora blizzard are a part of the winter tack pack now which costs 1 IV. (I assume that means they cant be put on unless you have bought the tack pack) There is also a christmas and an axiom tack pack that are backgrounds. Also for 1 IV. You have go to upgrade with game money and then shopping with IVs.

ETA: Cheers was describing the color of the background when she said "golds and dusky greens"

I bought the winter pack and I can only SEE the Mindwinter Pasture and Aurora Blizzard on the list of available backgrounds, but when I'm trying to buy any of them it says "Your horse isn't allowed to wear this tack item".
All items for the Christmas and the Starry Sky tack packs are working normally.

Maybe bring it up in the bugs section, I think if you bought the pack them I would think you could use the backgrounds? Probably just an overhang from when only upgraded players could use it when not in the winter tackpack
