Aging
-
Hi everyone, I am very new to the game and I have a few foals that I would eventually like to breed but they are all yearlings and I would love to know how long it takes them to age. Thank You!
-
Horses all turn one year older on the first of each month. One year on the game = 1 real life month.
-
And just to clarify further, colts can be bred at 3 years old but mares can't breed until they are 4.
All horses start to "age out" of the game (die) from rollover between 17 and 18 years, but some make it to the ripe old age of mid 20s. I believe they stop being breedable at 20... -
Mares sometimes can be bred if they are over 20, but not live cover.
Here is an example. I had to use a straw to get the yearling colt from his mama, who is 21 years old.

I don't think stallions can unless you have collected straws from them before they turn 20.Thanked by 1Cheers
