All horses will be at least heterozygous(KittoKit) for the tobiano gene, but might also be homozygous (KittoKitto). All base colors are possible. Horses might also have other patterns.

Because heterozygous Kit HHs only modify the second allele, right? I think this description confused us. :P Oh, well...

Herd helpers always modify the second allele first. That is because regular create random genes always modify the first allele. That way this HH can make het or hom horses.Need to contact me?
