Ondowa Stables Lined Stallions for Public Breeding

    Ondowa Stables' lined stallions are currently available for public breeding.

    Breeding rules:
    Please breed to mares of the same generation (indicated by the number in the stallion's name).
    All foals must be tested with SAT and GA or MA/SMA and showing recommended foals must be neutered.
    Geld all colts that paper less than B for 2nd gen sires and A for 3rd gen and 4th gen sires.
    Consistency and PT testing are recommended, but not required.

    Stud fees are 250hb for unpatterned studs (mostly from my rose gray line) and 2500hb for patterned or champagne studs (available patterns include appaloosa, frame, rabicano, splash, sabino 1 and 2, tobiano, and white 1)

    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

    The 2nd gen stallions have just been through a quality culling. My best pasture foal this year (out of 130 foals) is a 2nd gen colt so I compared all of them to him. Only the ones that compared about as good as him remained intact. I now have a lot fewer 2nd gen stallions, but they are guaranteed to be the best possible breeders.
