Breeding brindles is super rare but does happen. Similarly spontaneous creates happen at foundation generation. All of my Gen 2 brindles do have at least one brindle parent and I know several gen 3 and later brindles who have brindle at the foundation generation somewhere, but it is incredibly difficult to breed for brindle. Using brindle parents I believe does microscopically increase your chances.

To put this in perspective, I have about 2500 broodmares over 4 generations, roughly 600 of these are foundations. A high proportoin of my foundation mares and stallions are rank specials and therefore many of them are brindle. I also have one gen 2 brindle stallion and 2 gen 2 brindle mares (one of breeding age). If I breed all of my horses, I get one brindle foal once every 2-4 seasons or roughly one every 5-10k foals. I have never bred a brindle past gen 2. Of all of the brindle foals I've managed to put on the ground, only 3 have passed free testing. Breeding for brindle is super tough!
