Ending Forum Auctions early?
-
I want to know what the stance is on it. Right now there is multiple interest in it, so it would be inappropriate for me to stop it, but earlier I had one person who bided on him. At that point would it have been ok for me to stop the auction and sold him to her even though the auction originally goes till rollover today? Trying to figure this out incase the situation rises in the future. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

If no one is bidding it's not a big deal to end things early.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

I don't know if there is an official policy, but you might consider these things.
Not every player is able to be online and check the game every day. Even if a player is online every day, they may not have a lot of time to check the forum, or may have been online long before an auction post was made. Or, if it's a busy forum day, the auction post may have slipped onto page 2 rather quickly. Remember that the Hunt and Jump community spans the globe. Although many of the players are from the US or Canada, a good many live somewhere in Europe or in Australia or New Zealand. One player on HaJ1 lives in Brazil, I believe.
All things considered, it is only polite, if an ending time for a forum auction has been set to allow the full amount of time to pass before declaring the auction ended.
At least, that's the way it seems to me.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
